Anyone looking for good fish and chips on the west side of Toronto can go here. www.restaurantica.com/on/york/golden-crisp-fish-chips/23019791/Great place. I have been there a few times and my mom and aunt used to go there when they were younger. Not to mention it's just down the street from my place. He Bill thanks for posting that link to restaurantica.com. Very cool website that I had not seen before. I m going to favorite that one for sure.

A good place for fish n' chips if you were in west end Toronto was 6 Points Fish n' Chips. Unfortunately they closed down when the owner retired. But they made the best ever Halibut and had fresh cut fries too

this is the fish n' chips place i had mentioned prior. don't go for fish n' chips often so it does seem pricey, but its good. (thanks bill for the link to that site) www.restaurantica.com/on/scarborough/highland-fish-chips/23015727/couldn't find any info on shamrock burgers, but here is the site www.shamrockburgers.com/also thought id add that Kips Flaming Burgers in Pickering is the same owner as Johnnys............they do have the fried onions.......but they are rude as f**k! when i asked for a few pickles on the side it was like i reached in and took the nickle right outta his pocket!
