I'd like to know everyones predictions for the Penn vs St Pierre fight. I'm going with George but I honestly don't think it's gonna be the one sided affair that a lot of people are making it out to be. I think this match has the potential to be one of the best ever!

Sorry, I thought this thread was a debate regarding Blow jobs vs Good Sex Positions.
Although B.J.'s tend to be one sided!

I think moving up a weight class may affect BJ ... he is at his best as a lightweight. Yes, he has plenty of experience as a welter, but his best work has come as of late with the smaller dudes.
I think the result will be the same as their first fight, but it may go 4 rounds

This fight will either be really quick or a 5 round technical brawl. Either way it goes I'm picking GSP. I don't think BJ's gonna pull this one off like the thinks he will.

im not as schooled as some of you on mma so i dont know all the details(although i love mma a ton and find myself watching it more lately then wrestling) i think GSP will take it in maybe 2 or 3 i like what ive seen of BJ but GSP just seems to get better and better everytime he fights...oh and hes canadian so that makes me a lil bias

Lol I'm a lil bit biased too but if it is quick it will for sure end in the 2nd round by choke for GSP. I think the 1st round is gonna be a feeling out round.

I think GSP takes it handidly. He's known for being a big strong welterweight, the biggest and strongest matter of fact. And he cuts a good 20 pounds to get to welterweight. So he's larger with better strength, a better athlete, better wrestling. All that cant be debated at all. The rest can be broken down to debate. Outside of Jiu Jitsu and flexibility, BJ has NOTHING on St. Pierre.
Now alot of people like to bring up the last fight and how BJ dominated round 1, but then pretty much lost the rest of the fight because he isnt THAT good. If BJ didnt do that well in round 1, it would of been a dominating victory for GSP. Granted a shitty unanimous decision, but that would do it. But since GSP got busted up the first round, regardless what he did the next rounds he didnt look as strong as someone who isnt all busted up.
Some like to bring up that BJ is finally focused on fighting and is unbeatable. He's right up there P4P with Fedor/Silva/GSP... thats bullshit.
Lets look at Penn's record since fighting GSP last: -- He lost TKO to Hughes, a guy GSP made look like a rookie. Granted Hughes was a better fighter back then, but still nothing compared to GSP now. So BJ's "improvement" might mean he can beat Matt Hughhs from 2006. Not GSP of 2009.
- beat Jens Pulver... that dosnt mean anything at all. It really dosnt, it took him 2 rounds, I guarantee if Jens somehow made it to 156 pounds and fought GSP it would be over in 1 minute.
- beat Joe Stevenson... oh pretty good. Then again, if you look at Stevenson, he's a large lightweight with wins over cans and smaller sized lightweights. Not a top 5 lightweight. Hell maybe not top 10.
- beat Sean Sherk... okay, one impressive victory over a top 10 lightweight. The problem with Penn is he dosnt fight top fighters. Granted it isnt his fault because they arnt in UFC, but Aoki, Alvares, Gesias, would all be handfuls for him and they are at least the same general size as him.
Compare to GSP's record since their fight:
- TKO'ed Matt Hughes... Out wrestling the UFC's "greatest wrestler". At the time #1 ranked welterweight in the world.
- Fluke loss to Matt Serra because GSP overlooked him...
- Beat Koscheck.... pretty much dominated a guy who alot thought was the next big thing of the welterweight division. At the time in the top 5 Welterweights in the world.
- DOMINATED Matt Hughes (and started his downward spiral)
- Proved Matt Serra was a fluke
- Beat Jon Fitch, the #2 ranked Welterweight in the world at the time, riding a 15 match win streak over RESPECTABLE fighters like Diego Sanchez, Luigi Fiorvanti, Thiago Alves, Shonie Carter, & Brock Larson. (unlike someone like Joe Stevenson)
GSP has been a beast. I'm calling a 3rd round TKO win. BJ will come out hot in the first, as always, GSP will either be able to counter him pretty well, or ride it out till BJ gets gassed and then simply overwhelm him with wrestling, get mount, and boom bang slam.
