Kingston told the DOI personally that this is not a drug issue, but he has alot of personal/family stuff he is dealing with, which is the reason why he's missed alot of bookings as of late. I also know Kingston has a "real" job which pays alot better than these indy promoters, and it's not worth losing a days pay & possibly your job for some of these indy shots. I think that is why you have seen Kingston doing the JAPW & PWS events, because they are local and don't require time off from his job.
It is reallythe tough life for the indy wrestler because promoters don't pay because there is no money being made most of the time. If you're one of the guys with no TNA or ROH affiliation who travel all over the place it most likely means you live off your parents and have no job. Then, when you try to support yourself and have a real job, some people think you have "issues" or don't care enough to be at every show in the world. With no medical benefits or anything, a real job is almost 100% necessary to survive the independent scene.
