www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=19564&p=1TNA was thrilled with the first day sales of their 10/22 Bound for Glory PPV in Plymouth, Michigan. According to one source, the company moved over to 1,000 tickets. Over 300 fans turned out for a signing with Rhino, Alex Shelley, A1, Scott D’Amore and Sirelda at the Compuware Sports Arena. They are obviously off to a good start for their first major PPV outside of Nashville and Orlando.

They should draw well for the PPV. They drew over 3500 for their house show there in March.

Very bad numbers if you ask me. WWE does "one off shows" in Japan and gets like 50+ thousand. TNA does an off show in Detroit and cant even get 4000. HAHA! just for the TNA lovers out there who like to think TNA is on a higher leven then they are.

Well they went into a building that holds about 4500 with the floor seating and drew 3800 i think they said with the comps(3500 sold). They made money that is all that is important. WWE doesn't always draw, even with their huge media machine at work. Last time they were in Kitchener they drew 1500-2000. TNA still has a ways to go but they are doing well and should be given credit for that.

WWE (Smackdown!) @ Yokohama, Japan - Arena - February 4, 2006 (8,530) Not exactly 50+ thousand now is it?

Indeed tigerdriver, and that arena only holds 17,000 people.
WWE has only drawn big numbers in Japan when they've done something in conjunction with New Japan, (i.e. the Riki Choshu retirement show). Then they can get 60+, but only due to New Japan talent.
