So I just read the results for the special Tuesday Smackdown that aired yesterday. I am seriously disgusted. This goes beyond Mae Young's birth to the hand, Katie Vick and all those other ridiculous angles and spots.
From the LAW website:
I have not seen it but it sounds like WWE may have done the most tasteless angle in their history and that is saying quite a lot. For those who missed Tuesday night's UPN special, they had Rey drive out in a Low Rider as a tribute to Eddy for his match with Big Show. The match ends with a Kane run in, followed by The Undertaker running out with Michael Cole yelling "The Dead has risen". Randy Orton then came out and hit the 'Taker with a crowbar in the back of the car and drove 'Taker in the low rider threw the set and burst into flames. This is an all time low for the WWE and I'm sure I'm not the only one to feel this way.
EDIT:
Here is a link to the form to email the WWE about your thoughts on last nights Rey/Big Show match:

I just emailed the WWE. Here is a copy of my email:
Dear Vince McMahon,
I am appalled and disgusted by the Rey Mysterio/Big Show match up on Smackdown last night. It's been two weeks and already the WWE exploiting and degrading Eddie Guerrero's name on WWE television.
I have been a loyal fan of the WWE for almost 30 years now and after viewing the match last night I am seriously considering boycotting the WWE and anything to do with your company.
Last night's angle supercedes any past angle in terms of lack of taste. With some of the ridiculous and offensive angles the WWE have run with in the past that speaks volumes.
I hope that WWE can issue an apology to it's fans and members of the Eddie Guerrero family.
On a related topic, I hope the WWE takes it's new drug policy seriously. I fear that this policy was only put in place to wash the WWE's hands of future untimely deaths. Although I do not fully blame the WWE for these untimely deaths as some critics have, I do feel the WWE and the entire wrestling industry need to seriously look at the issue. Reducing work schedules and allowing your athletes time to heal properly would be a step in the right direction.
I am passionate about pro wrestling. I am also passionate about doing what we can to prevent future tragedies of the men and women workers whom I admire.
I await your response on this matter.
Regards,
Emanuel Melo
