What I Like in WWE:
1. John Bradshaw Layfield (great character - and that's all that needs to be said)
2. Benoit and Guerrero as World Champions (although so much more could be done with these two - and oh how I wish they were both heels)
3. Angle resting (I like knowing that Kurt is slowing down a little and realizing how important his body is outside of athletics)
4. Brian Christopher returns (now they'll never let him be the great entertainer he is capable of (and seen by few in the USWA), but I like seeing Christopher back. I expect he'll be no more than a jobber for his entire run)
5. Mick Foley making stars. Randy Orton just got a heckuvalotbetter. Orton will still never be the Ace, but he's coming along
6. Paul E. (I like seeing him on my TV. Hopefully more soon!)
TNA:
1. Nothing. I haven't seen the product in awhile, and have no desire to any time soon (which is a shame because they have so much talent). TNA=glorified MLW.
American Indies
1. Teddy Hart - the kid has got it!
2. I wish there was more to say, but I'm having a hard time paying any attention to the diddler-led ROH.
...but what I'm really liking these days:
1. Old ECW TV Tapes (that is where you want to see ECW. The TV tapes trump any of the commercial tapes. ECW was not about workrate. It was about violence (and edited together is better), stories/angles, and characters. Again, not workrate, but then I just watched Malenko-Guerrero, so?
2. AJPW (anything from the 90s - Kawada, Hansen, Kobashi, Misawa, Taue, Vader, Ace, Akiyama, Kroffatt, Furnas, Ace, Johnny Smith, etc.)
3. UWF (The Bill Watts Version - the only version (in North America anyway; Hard hitting awesome wrestling that too few have seen. The best promotion of the 80s, but somebody in Georgia or the Carolinas might want to argue that.)
4. WWF Maple Leaf Wrestling (from the mid 80s; I love jobber matches. I love seeing what a guy is capable of without resistance. And then I love thinking about that guy vs. another guy I've been impressed with. I love Billy Red too. And ring announcer Frank Tunney. I loved Jack Tunney too, and wish the modern landscape would once again adopt a Jack Tunney like president who we only see in difficult situations. What would Jack Tunney think of modern wrestling? I sometimes ask myself this.
