1) Jason Blade & Eddie Edwards defeated Tank Toland and Chris Hero after Edwards pinned Toland with a sunset flip. Blade and Edwards aren't very good, but Hero and Tank made the most of a bad situation, as the match was OK.
2) Pelle Primeau defeated Shane Hagadorn to win the Top of the Class Trophy. Pretty decent students match, I thought.
3) Rocky Romero defeated Claudio Castagnoli with a crucifix. These two did not click very well and the match felt like a series of disjointed spots with no flow whatsoever.
4) Kevin Steen and El Generico defeated Jay Briscoe and Erick Stevens when Generico pinned Mark Briscoe (yes, you read that correctly). I felt that the match these two teams had two months ago in Philly was very good, that had the crowd on the edge of their seats for every nearfall. This match...well, it just wasn't good. Erick Stevens was attacked by the No Remorse Corpse during the match, leaving Jay to fend off Steen and Generico by himself. Problem was, Jay Briscoe isn't very good at selling, and never really seemed like he was in a whole lot of trouble, even two on one. Mark Briscoe hopped the rail to make the save, and the ref allowed it, and he came into the match in street clothes to make the save. Despite coming into the match with a concussion, it took Steen and Generico multiple blows to the head before Mark finally took a pinfall, including being dumped straight on his head with suplexes several times. The crowd just didn't get into this at all, and Steen and Generico got little pop, even after beating the ROH World tag team champions in a non-title match.
5) Doug Williams beat Colt Cabana in a good match. Lots of comedy, as you would expect. Cabana gave a ramblilng, but heartfelt interview about leaving for WWE after the match was over.
Intermission
6) Sara Del Ray defeated Alex Osiris with her submission finisher. Short match. It's strange to see Sara Del Ray booked like Taz, because she's probably taller than him anyway.
7) Shingo defeated Matt Cross with a lariat. OK match, nothing special.
8) The No Remorse Corpse of Roderick Strong & Davey Richards defeated Delirious and Davey Richards when Richards pinned Delirious. I have to say, I've been critical in the past of Strong and Richards for being bland, boring babyfaces, but they actually made attempts at showing some heel personality heel. Richards comes off bad, as he winds up being more comical than anything else, but Strong showed good heel personality, and it seems to be something that suits him well.
9) Takeshi Morishima defeated Nigel McGuinness to retain the ROH World title. Very good match, best match of the night, the crowd was very much into Nigel's nearfalls. I'm not sure Morishima is really over as champion, though.
