WrestlingObserver.com Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham was pronounced dead on arrival at an Atlanta area hospital this morning. The only available details were he was at a friend's house in Peachtree City, GA, and was gasping for air and rushed to the hospital. The preliminary diagnosis from the hospital is that it was said to have to do with complications from sleep apnea. -- Sad that the world of wrestling loses another name. EDIT: Emanuel or Hammer, wasnt sure where to put this, so you might want to move it somewhere better.

Truly sad indeed.
It was a shame how Public Enemy were treated in WWE, and to some extent in WCW. Though in the mid to late 90s in their stints in WCW, they brought with them a style of wrestling that hadn't been seen before. You can critique their ring work all you want, but they were innovative, and agile for their size.
Sad to say that the last time I ever saw Johnny Grunge in the ring was at Hardcore Homecoming--kind of puts a darker light on what was a special show to watch
