After days of negotiations, we are pleased to announce that Dirty Buxx Belmar will make his return to the ring on Sunday, October 1 to face his rival, Travis Toxic at BATTLEWAR 48! This confrontation has been brewing for months and, up until days ago, did not seem likely that it would ever take place inside of a BATTLEWAR ring. We will have more regarding this grudge match in the coming weeks, including the recent events that have led to this encounter, as well as the in-depth history that both men share.

For months, The Rambling Man Wrestling Co. have been on the pursuit for the BATTLEWAR Tag Team Championship, held by Francis and Francis. Time after time, it appeared as if "Cowboy" Giant Tiger and "Outlaw" Mercer would leave Foufounes Electriques with the titles, only to be thwarted by the current champions. On Sunday, October 1, The Rambling Man Wrestling Co. will have a final opportunity to climb to the top of BATTLEWAR's tag team division, when they challenge Francis and Francis at BATTLEWAR 48!

Tenacity is one of the many words that can be used to describe Mathieu St-Jacques.
His tenacious attitude has been put to the test as of late by the methodical, "Professor H" Shayne Hawke. It was in August that Shayne Hawke was challenged by Mathieu St-Jacques. Hawke would make St-Jacques wait until BATTLEWAR 47 to decline that challenge.
We now find ourselves in the same position, one month later. BATTLEWAR officials have received word that Mathieu St-Jacques, again, has challenged Shayne Hawke to a match on Sunday, October 1 at BATTLEWAR 48 - Live Pro Wrestling! The question is, will this rivalry finally make it's way into the ring? Or, will the BATTLEWAR fans, and Mathieu St-Jacques continue to wait?

We are only weeks away from Dirty Buxx Belmar's return to BATTLEWAR, when he finally faces Travis Toxic on Sunday, October 1. Fans may not be aware that the seeds of this rivalry were actually planted three years ago. With the BATTLEWAR Championship on the line, Travis Toxic challenged then champion, Dirty Buxx Belmar at BATTLEWAR 22. During the match, Toxic placed a pumpkin onto Belmar's head, in preparation to deliver a devastating double stomp from the top rope. This maneuver would be responsible for the injury that would later force Belmar to announce his departure from wrestling. Although both competitors were friends at the time of their first encounter, they will be anything but that at BATTLEWAR 48. One of the stories coming out of BATTLEWAR 47 in August was the delivery that Thomas Dubois received. Prior to his match, Dubois was handed a package that turned out to be a Big Magic Security shirt. We, as well as Dubois have yet to receive any information from the Big Magic camp as to what this delivery signifies. The meaning behind this gesture may need to take a backseat for Thomas Dubois, as he will be facing what could be his toughest challenge to date when he takes on Stu Grayson at BATTLEWAR. Halloween comes early on Sunday, October 1 at BATTLEWAR! Instead of giving out the treats, The Rambling Man Wrestling Co. are aiming to be the recipients, when they have an opportunity to leave Foufounes Electriques with the BATTLEWAR Tag Team Championship. Join us for this, and so much more, including appearances from Thomas Dubois, Travis Toxic, Scott Parker and Dirty Buxx Belmar!

One apparent alliance that has the BATTLEWAR fan-base scratching their heads is Leon Saver and Oliver Strange.
It was only one month ago that both men were in direct competition against each other, until Saver abandoned the match, citing their lack of support as the reason.
As previously reported, these words seem to have gotten through to Strange. We know that both men will be at Foufounes Electriques on Sunday, October 1, but the question is: what do they have planned for BATTLEWAR 48?

It was an wild night of action at BATTLEWAR 48, with amazing highs for some members of the BATTLEWAR roster, and extreme lows for others. As always, we would like to thank each and every member of our fan-base who helped in making BATTLEWAR 48 an exciting evening.
Join us on Sunday, November 5 at Foufounes Electriques for BATTLEWAR 49!
Here are the results from BATTLEWAR 48: 1. The Salty Bullies defeated "Unstoppable" Mustapha Jordan and Wes Dawson in the bonus match of the night.
2. BATTLEWAR 48 kicked off with an incredible singles contest that saw Evil Uno defeat Kevin Dunn.
Mathieu St-Jacques made his way to ringside to address his situation with the recently sidelined, Shayne Hawke. It was made very clear by St-Jacques that while neither men would ever be friends, there was a mutual respect.
Without an opponent, Mathieu St-Jacques sent an open invitation to any competitor in the locker room.
3. "Tornado" Keven Grey would answer this open invitation, and despite a hard fought effort, was unable to topple Mathieu St-Jacques.
4. Leon Saver, with help from his new associate, Oliver Strange, was victorious over Scott Parker.
5. Francis and Francis kept their impressive BATTLEWAR Tag Team Championship reign in tact with their victory over The Rambling Man Wrestling Co.
Following the match, a very grounded "Cowboy" Giant Tiger addressed the BATTLEWAR audience. After being unable to capture the championship, Giant Tiger felt that perhaps it was time to "fold them", in regards to his in-ring career.
As the audience showed their respect for Giant Tiger, his tag team partner, "Outlaw" Marc Mercer shockingly attacked the Cowboy. The cherry on top for Mercer would come when he removed Giant Tiger's mask, before leaving.
6. Thomas Dubois pinned Stu Grayson in a fast paced and hard hitting match-up. This match was not without controversy, as it was Big Magic Security who directly helped Dubois win his match, albeit, without his knowing.
After the match, BATTLEWAR Champion, Big Magic made his way to ringside to with, yet again, a Big Magic Security shirt and offered it it Thomas Dubois. As both men stood in silence, Dubois made his choice very clear as he threw the shirt back at Big Magic before exiting the ring.
BATTLEWAR's talent coordinator, Twiggy and his brother, Doug made their way to the ring to demand an apology from Vanessa Kraven, who attacked Twiggy's nephew, John-Marco in August at BATTLEWAR 47.
Kraven would appear, refusing to apologize, but would demand a match with Twiggy, which he declined. As both men began to leave, it was Doug who was caught in Vanessa Kraven's grasp. She demanded that unless Twiggy would give her the match she wants, Doug would suffer the same fate as John-Marco. Twiggy would begrudgingly agreed, and Doug was let free.
As Twiggy helped Doug to his feet, Vanessa Kraven charged towards both men and delivered a crushing corner avalanche before leaving.
7. In a violent match filled with pumpkins and hard candy, Dirty Buxx Belmar returned to the ring for the first time in almost two years to defeat his enemy, Travis Toxic. After the match, it was the BATTLEWAR audience who gave Belmar a standing ovation for his win, and his return.
