INTERNATIONAL INVASION July 30 - Collingwood Curling Club - 8:00pm - Collingwood For more information, call 444-5154
Featuring: 'MYSTERY CHALLENGE' STEEL CAGE MATCH!! 'AS SEEN ON TV' and on film, Notorious T.I.D. is forced into the STEEL CAGE at the request of SOMEONE from Tid's past who has DEMANDED a NO INTERFERENCE, NO DISQUALIFICATION, NO COUNTOUTS, NO RULES match!! WHO is it that is willing to lay it all on the line in this match, and what will the outcome be as Tid returns to the hardcore playground that made him famous?
Competitor on more promotional Pay Per Views than any wrestler currently in the business, this former WWE and TNA-NWA has appeared in Pay-Per-Views originating from all over the world; including the WWE, TNA-NWA, WWA, FSW and ASW. Joe E. Legend makes his return to Collingwood on July 30th, bringing the privilege of area wrestling fans seeing one of the top wrestling superstars in the world in action!
The toughest place in the world to break in to the professional wrestling business is Puerto Rico, so when the 6'3", 360 pound Gorilla Barone went looking for a place to fight his way in to this business - he went to the baddest place on the planet; the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. Within months, Barone was crowned the WWC Carribean Champion, a title rich in heritage as Harley Race, Angelo Mosca, Abdullah the Butcher, Greg Valentine, and Scott Hall had all enjoyed reigns as Caribbean Champions. Since that time, Barone has gone on to perform on a regular basis in Japan and Mexico; as well as enjoying a 7 month stint as AWWL TV Champion, turning back the challenges of Kevin Sullivan, Sabu, Chris Candido, Balls Mahoney, and a host of other wreslting superstars!
For 9 months he reigned as a Powerslam Wrestling Extreme Tag Team Champion with (Magnificent) Matt Burns, blazing a trail of victories over such teams as Magnus and JC Owens, Body Count, Season of the Sick, and countless others. Currently, after stints with the IWA in Puerto Rico and as a current performer with CMLL Mexico, Rico 'The Xzibit' Montana returns to Collingwood to wreak havoc with Ring Wars.
From Zero-One to Battle Arts, Ring Wars National Champion George Terzis has successfully competed in Japan and is currently enjoying his 4th month as Ring Wars National Champion. Georges' no-nonsense, stiff style never fails to bring fans to their feet as they witness the refined Japanese-style of one of Canada's fastest rising stars!
Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Champion, as well as New York State Champion; 'Impact' Eddie Osbourne, returns to Collingwood after a momentous debut in June that saw Eddie and Thorn come within a hair of defeating Notorious T.I.D. and Joe E. Legend in a great tag team main event.
When not in the ring exhibiting his unorthodox wrestling style, Mikey Madrox is the man behind the immensely popular 'Random Acts of Stupidity' extreme stunts team that has already released one DVD and is in the midst of completing another. Madrox has faced the toughest in the business from ECW's New Jack, to Bloody Bill Skullion, to Notorious T.I.D; and Mikey keeps coming back with a vengeance!
A manic depressive with a destructive personality, Philadelphia's 'Warhed' made his debut in Collingwood in June and had a strong showing against Mikey Madrox and George Terzis in a 3 way dance for Terzis' National Title. The 'Mick Foley' of Ring Wars has vowed to prove his doubters wrong and is focused on causing as much pain and suffering as he can on his opponents.
Who or what else is booked for action in Collingwood? Buy a ticket, come to the show, and see what surprises that we have in store!
