Joey Valentyne will go one-on-one with the Mecca Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Payne The Hellraiser for the MPW Championship! According to Valentyne, The Insignia in general (and specifically Insignia originator and mastermind Randy "The Rage" Berry) have been causing him a great amount of grief, and keeping him from getting what he believes is his rightful chance at the MPW title for quite some time. Valentyne sees "Anarchy In Kingston" as his chance for redemption by sticking it to The Insignia and depriving them of the Heavyweight Championship. MPW Champion Payne and The Insignia, however, are equally as determined to make sure the title belt remains in their possession. By hook or by crook (and we're leaning towards "crook") Payne has faced some of the fiercest and most talented competitors in the wrestling world, and managed to hang onto his title thus far. Payne has proven to be a dominant Champion, largely due to the help of The Insignia, and fully intends to continue his long reign. Having literally dominated everything that has come across their path of destruction, they have stood tall, regardless of the challenge. KL Shock and Ray Steele have been the cornerstone of that path of destruction, having defeated long-reigning tag team champions, The Incredible Hunks, and successfully defeating those championship against all comers. But this isn't just any ordinary challenge. First, The Barbarians, Damien and Myzery. If there are two men more hell-bent on taking down the Insignia from the inside out, I'd like to meet them. The Barbarians are no stranger to leaving a path of destruction behind them on their road to victory. Putting two 8 pound pieces of gold on the line is just a bonus. The Barbarians are out for KL Shock and Ray Steele's blood. In addition to the amazing in-ring talent announced so far, MPW will have someone extra special in charge of things for the night! Mecca Pro Wrestling management has named Scott D'Amore the Special Guest General Manager for "Anarchy In Kingston!" For those who don't know him, Scott D'Amore is a respected wrestler, trainer, and manager. He's wrestled in WWE and WCW, but is probably best known for being the manager of Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling's Team Canada. Scott is well known for being the type of person who doesn't let himself get pushed around. He makes the hard decisions, without being intimidated by anyone. With Scott D'Amore calling the shots on September 26th, it could very well prove to be an extremely tough night for The Insignia (although, that's probably the idea.) So Kingston, be excited. NEXT MATCH ANNOUNCED FOR "ANARCHY IN KINGSTON!" THE HUNKS COLLIDE!!! As the MPW Family knows, Mecca Pro Wrestling is known for action, for controversy, and for its phenomenal tag teams. Few would argue that one of the most successful and well known tag teams in MPW history would have to be The Incredible Hunks. However, the bond between Cheeky and Deeno may not be as strong as it once was. At "Headlock For Hospice II," Deeno interfered in Cheeky's match against El Phantastico, and inadvertently cost his longtime partner the victory. Cheeky, naturally, did not take kindly to this. Pushing and shoving occurred, and the two tag partners and closest of friends ended up brawling to the back. Cheeky and Deeno both have scores to settle with each other, and they have requested to be able to settle those scores at "Anarchy In Kingston" on September 26th.
