FYI There is an ad in the local paper for TWE wrestling at the Bayfield Mall in Barrie for Sat. March 20 from 12:00 to 3:00. If the card is as good as the one at the Galleria Mall in Toronto, it's probably worth checking out.

It's on Elm street.....If your coming for North Bay come into Sudbury from 17 east continue on the same road which is called the Kingsway.....Then you drive up on to a hilled street called Lloyd street, and the mall is the first building on the right hand side

Hey Moonsault
Yeah I heard about it from a friend of mine up here and he said it wasn't their greatest show this past Saturday night. here is just a few of the matchs I heard that went on....
Tyson Dux vs. Tornado Winner: Tyson Dux via pinfall
Honky Tonk Man vs. Flesh Gordon for the TWF Heavyweight title Winner: Honky Tonk Man via DQ
And he also said there was a Battle Royale Winner: Melody

The Barrie wrestling on Sat. past was great. First of all it was free. It lasted almost 3 hours. Cody Steele opened the show with a fast-paced solid match against the Hacker. Other matches included Flesh losing to Kris Chambers and Tyson Dux beating Big Deal. Honky sang and entertained. Other wrestlers included Otis ? and James Champagne. Jason Sensation did triple duty as a manager, impressionist and participant in the battle royal. ( A girl won...Princess of Darkness???) The crowd went home very happy. I am a teacher (and part time ref). The kids who attended the show were still excited about the card on Monday after the March Break. I read Cody Steele's comments about the weekend and the wrestlers really enjoy these shows as they get to perform in front of loud, boisterous kids, who don't often get to see live shows. Even though they didn't let me ref... thanks TWE for bringing your show to Barrie.

thanks for the review eddy.
how many people made it to the barrie show?
i sure wish barrie had more shows... when Border City Wrestling came a while back that was a great show althoguh the crowd was a bit smaller then I hoped for.

That was a pathetic crowd for the Border City show about 2 years ago. Fifty, maybe and there were quite a few freebies. It was a great card. I was impressed with the promotion as they worked their butts off for the few souls who attended. Nova, Swinger and Simon Diamond worked and signed autographs that night. The local promoter (a former student) lost a bundle. There is so much competition for the entertainment dollar... Barrie drew tons (800 -1000?) with the Hardcore group maybe a year before but with a lot of support from Molson's (before they left). I don't know what the answer is? Barrie is is unpredictable.

Ya that was a great wrestling show.. really good talent and good venue. But I think there were more then 50 there.. atleast 120 even though that is a low number for a show. I remember seeing a ton of advertising for it around the Barrie area and even on the radio which made me surprised that so few turned up... I find that in Barrie there are not too many events such as these cause the majority of people here never go out anywhere. But I would love to see BCW come back to Barrie!
