Hello fellow indy fans,
I attended the Lucha VaVoom event in Toronto last friday and got the chance to talk to the UWA promoter, who was promoting his Saturday March 20th event. I have never heard of this fed and was wondering if anyone has ever attended any of there previous shows? The promoter told me that Colt Cabanna was scheduled to appear. I've checked out there website and the majority of there wrestlers are unknown to me with the exception of some AWF guys. From what I've heard, they claim to do some crazy bumps. Can't go wrong for $10.
Any feedback would be appreciated!!!

Is this fed even OK'd by the Ontario Athletics Commission? Doesn't seem like a real fed.. maybe something along the lines of NSW.
Also Cabana is going to be at the April 17 show not the March show.

The UWA website isn't updated very often, unfortunatly all it really tells is the shows that they have. This is a legitimate leauge, all the wrestlers are certified adn every show is sanctioned. They draw about 200 people a show.
The shows do have some crazy stuff like in february a 450 splash off a 14 foot scafold and then someone did a moonsault off of it.
Colt Cabana is wrestling on the April 17th show in the Bolton fairgrounds. And all the shows at the Bolton fairgrounds were booked months before Ring Wars booked shows there.
And MIke, don't worry, Osiris is out with an injury.

yes if you couldn't sense the sarcasm let me come right out and say it, a direct quote I got from a former uwa worker when I asked him who trained him was "...myself lol and watched sabu over and over for 4 months"

The UWA used to have some people that weren't properly trained. Non of them work for the leauge anymore. On the next show there are 9 workers that were trained by Ron Hutchinson and 5 of those 9 also trained at the Squared Circle when the AWF went out of business. The UWA champion was trained by 3 former WWf jobbers, unfortunatly the only name I can remember is The Missing Link
