I wasn't going to post here, but then I seen Swiss Chalet by mr james. SC is my pick, AWESOME food throughout the menu, the most awesome gravy that comes straight from a package ie not homemade.
Overall this is where I spend most of my fast but suitable sit down place with my lady.

Swiss Chalet gives me gutrut almost every time I eat it.
Seriously, if you're going to spend money on a girl, if you want to impress her, spend the extra $5-7 per meal going to Kelsey's. It's not that much more for the name/quality.

I agree with Pierre that spending an extra $5-7 more per person can get you way better quality and atmosphere. As I said Canyon Creek was running a price fixe menu for $30 and I thought it was great. A nice steak, loaded baked potato, salad, and a brownie! And I will go on record as saying the brownie is AWESOME ! Pan on the Danforth also has a price fixe menu, I think if you goto Dine TO *(not sure of the exact site) you can see some great deals. I'm not saying you goto these places all of the time, but it does make a good first impression.
If she likes seafood Red Lobster started running the all you can eat shrimp, I went twice last week..........LOVE IT !
*just my two cents*
