I've been a part of wrestling since coming from Scotland in 2000 and since getting involved I have found myself with a deeper respect and admiration for wrestling, which is why it kinda upsets me to hear and see a lot of so called wrestlers breaking rules that have been a part of the business since its conception. The rules in wrestling although not written in stone are guidelines from which we use to keep the business healthy and show our respect for it and the people who came before us and used them. Recently there have been more and more "wrestlers" disrespecting the rules and the business and to be honest I think it will take it's toll on Professional wrestling. New school or old school I don't care what style you are just put the Professional back in wrestling.

Totally true Rory. Since my day wrestling has slowly went down hill due to the fact certain traditions have been put aside and wrestlers only looking out for themselfs and not thinking of the long term effects on Professional Wrestling on a whole. Hopefully although the old days are gone the new guys coming through can be educated right, and respect for the business will be brought back. I think it might be because now there are young people teaching wrestling instead of people who have been around wrestling for most of their life. Who knows.

Does your Mom have to explain the right thing to do for you everytime you have an ethical queery. Wrestlers sherriff themselves, the right thing to do isn't always the easy thing to do but hell it's a business and I believe the rules apply to every situation you might find yourself in.

No offence, but am I the only one who doesn't have a damn clue what these 2 are talking about. If you're saying that young guys teaching is beneficial to the business, you're a mark yourself. Thats the problem with the biz is too many young guys with their own schools who can't figure out what a psychologicaL match is to save their life. Can run a shitload of spots in a 5 minute match, but couldn't go out and JUST call a match from start to finish, cuz they wouldn't know when to throw in the "Mysterio spot into the Misawa spot into the Andre the Giant spot". Whatever.

Read the post man he said that young guys training might be one of the problems with wrestling right now, so you're kinda arguing the same point really.

Master of the obvious, Pete Jenkins...
Read the post yourself, dumbass. If that's what he was trying to get across, he worded it terribly. If you can't see that, go back to school. Secondly, I believe the first sentence of my post said that I didn't know what he was saying. Then I offered a statement based on one possible interpretation of his convaluted paragraph.
If I have to be this specific, Pete, you're an idiot. You are no longer allowed to speak to me.

Don't argue guys, Rory is talking about a specific situation that he hasn't totally explained. And I myself am just waiting to see how this situation all plays out.

Sorry I can't help you out Eric as far as seeing how things play out. Simple fact is I was pissed at something and vented on here. Gotta use these boards for something constructive
