Is there anyone out there OTHER than Mark Anderson planning on bringing wrestling to London Ontario. We are missing it here , sure WWE comes rolling in 2-3 times a year now but at $45 min for 1 ticket it gets rather expensive to take myself and my son to watch it. If there is any promoter out there who would like some helped planning a event ie some venue #s, or things email me and I will be willing to help out in any way I can. jwsiegfried@hotmail.com

Do yourself and your son a favour.... save your money and head to see the WWE in Toronto in June or in August for SummerSlam. If indy promoters are going to fail to bring their product here to London then I've got no problem spending my money to see real wrestling in Toronto.
As for Anderson, the guy's a bitch.

To anyone who emailed me please take note to the change I made in the first post I screwed up and used my work email address and the boss didn't take kindly to all the emails I got to. For those who did email I am in the process of returning your emails in the order they were sent to me.

e-punk I don't understand the end of your last post. You said you'd rather go watch the WWE and see some "real" wrestling. So what you're saying is that if you're not in the fed then you can't call yourself a wrestler, well that's news to me. I'm pretty sure you offended a few people on that one man.

If I offended anyone, then I'm sorry but it seems that everywhere but London is getting indy wrestling.
They had this card planned for Paris, Ontario in 2002 that was supposed to feature past WWE stars and a good amount of indy wrestlers. I made the trip from London, spent the money on gas just to find out that the only past WWE star to show up was The Missing Link and other than that, not only did the promoter not show up, neither did a ring or anyone else for that matter. I wasted my money to go and see indy wrestling in another city that didn't happen.
I'm pissed that indy wrestling has failed to come here to London in a few years and I'm even more pissed that a guy like Anderson had the balls to speak up again and fail to deliver, AGAIN!
So I like said, the guy should save his money and if he wants to hit the road to see wrestling, then he should go and see the WWE. At least that way, he won't have to worry about wasting his money because regardless of who's on the WWE show, he's seeing the best that wrestling has to offer today.
Don't get me wrong, if indy wrestling came to London, I'd probably buy tickets depending on who's promoting the card. But the fact is, it's not.
Maybe you can tell me why?

London not a bad town.
But in past few years hard to run show's. Look what happened some time ago. One company came and ran a show on SATURDAY the WWE found out and booked a show on Monday, not once but twice. First rinks are expensive to rent. To find a large enought place might be easy. 300 to 400 people. Use great talent from all over ONTARIO. We live in EASTERN Ontario, for us to go down to LONDON we need HOTEL's, FOOD. for 2 day's. This would mean WRESTLERS, behind the scenes staff, 5 ton truck for the ring, sound and light's. Maybe if we got lucky we could break even Hey it would be fun.

It's funny that you all are talking about bringing wrestling back to London, what are you, mind readers? For one, I also live in Eastern Ontario, and I don't have to worry about such expenses, like a 5 ton truck rental, a ring and motels, and lets face it, how many "behind the scenes workers" do you need to run an indy show. Most of my roster are top name competitors from your area, Quinson, Chase, The Ebony Express, Impact Eddie Osbourne and London's own WildThing Willy Allen, to name a few. We can put together an unbelievable card for the fine people of London with the talent we have. To be honest with you all, I actually spend more time in the London area then what I spend here, so preparing an event there is quite easy for me. You never know, it could happen very soon. CGPW is preparing to hit the road in the Spring, London could very well be one of our stops. At first we were going to limit our tour to Eastern Ontario but then decided that maybe we should go a little further, stay tuned for the news on the best Indy site going.... visit www.cgpwwrestling.cjb.net for details in the upcoming weeks

When I said "I dont have to worry about such expenses" I meant that we have a local truck rental company that will be sponsering us truck rentals starting in March, and there are alot of very nice motel owners in the surrounding area (that we stayed at, from all the trips down for the OPW last summer) that give us good deals. Just wanted to clarify...Thank You

Awesome! If you plan to hit the road then you should make London a stop. It'd be nice to see indy wrestling again in this city.
