Here's my picks: In no particular order
1. Eric Young 2. Derek Wylde 3. Tyson Dux 4. Custom Made Man 5. Cody Steele 6. Jamie Jackson (when he wants to be) 7. Hacker 8. Chris Chambers 9. El Tornado 10. Marco Malaquais
Is JT PLaya any good? I've only seen him once, and it was in one of those ridiculous 4 or 6 way matches.
I am more interested in hearing others views. I haven't seen any ontario indy action in at least 8 months.

I would agree with a couple of those choices but all I see is a cruiserweight list.

Ontario has alot of HEAVYWEIGHtS. The list looks like border city wrestling. Hey what about KWAN CHAN, QUINCIE VALINTINO, SCOTT CHASE, but ive seen some new wrestlers at some fairs, like the HADCORE HIC 6'6' over 300 lbs AXL WILLIAMS 6'3' 275 lbs not little boy's by no means, hey and what about DAVE DALTON this guy rock's this guy made it to the big along with his buddy JACOB CAIN no midgets here.

The heavyweight talent in Ontario is a big part of why the scene here is so terrible. For years Notorious TID, Magnus, D'Amore (big man by weight only), Skullion, and all of these other big baffoons have been lumbering through terrible matches, controlling the promotions and killing crowds from town to town. I have not seen 1 decent true heavyweight wrestler in this province in a long long time. Joe Legend maybe? Rhyno used to compete in the province-maybe him? That list was not by any means trying promote BCW. BCW is bad too. I hate watching D'Amore's failed attempts at generic sports entertainment. And his Sports Entertainment match lengths! If D'Amore would just let some of these young guys just go the promotion would be a heck of a lot better. But I do appreciate ol' Butterball D'Amore for hanging up his boots, and calling it a sad career. D'Amore was like a little talentless fat version of Taz.

Let me inform you of a few things, Champ. If you knew anything about the business other than guys who can run a 20 minute spot-fest, you'd know that D'Amore is a good worker. The onyl thing that held him back is his height and his look...2 things he really couldn't do much about. Scott and I had our differences over the years, but the guy gave me my first chance here in Ontario 11 years ago, and was very good to all young talent, both as a promoter and as a fellow worker. I agree with most of the list, as these guys can all put on a good match. What no one here has looked at was if they can tell a story, the way wrestling matches are supposed to. ' Some of them can, some go in to see how many of their big moves they can fit into a match.
As far as the other heavyweights go, I can attest to the talent of Dave Dalton, as he and I have had some fantastic matches (which I can't say about many people...lol).
I (Jacob Cain) had a good look and told a good story, but never had the chance to bloom into a great worker.
Hopefully this shows that I'm not being too biased. I do believe that there are too many small guys on the indy scene in Ontario, but at least they give the fans a good show. Props to WHOMEVER might have come up with the list.

Hey Chavez ( cause that's your real name... 2 questions: What was the last show you seen me on? and Why do you think I get booked on those shows? Think hard.......and please be witty with your ever so scathing response as I wait with baited breath because it will have so much bearing on my life.... ;D

And I DO apologoze for not defending the credentials of TID, but he is another that I have never had the pleasure of working alongside. His work and achievements speak for themselves, though.

I have to admit, that peice was written to provoke. But I have really seen enough of this ridiculous Indy Sports Entertainment circa 1994. And it's running wild all over Ontario, Brother!
I shouldn't have sounded off, but the few shows I have watched: I have seen poor slow matches out of the Heavyweights, and promising action by the younger smaller guys busting their asses.
I am sick of seeing promoter and heel referee angles, and starving for great matches.
Sorry to 'Butterball' Scott D'Amore!
I mean that sincerley the Italian Butterbean from Windsor: Scott 'Butterball' D'Amore
PS I'd like to see Ontario show our 'HONOR' if you know what I mean. Because Eric Young, Derek Wylde and El Tornado are every bit as good as Low Ki, American Dragon and CM Punk.

I have to agree with Hammer on this one. I too can attest to the talent of Dave Dalton, Dave is a hell of a guy in and out of the ring. Although I haven't had the pleasure of getting whooped by him, I've seen him work Sting, and I've seen him stretch kids in the gym on numerous occasions. There are a few young guys in Ont that are legitamately around 300 lbs or over, The Hick and AXL are big guys, although there is a wide range of weights, there are alot of small guys. You often find promotions where most tagteams total combined weight is 395lbs soaking wet, which in most cases is an exageration, and most singles that tip the scale around 175-220lbs. Don't get me wrong, small guys work hard, and we need them too, but put one of them in with a guy like Jacob Cain and well Im sure you can figure it out. Your no slouch Jacob, I've seen you in action a few times myself. Impressive, very impressive.....

I have no clue what the hell the problem is with heavyweights....I mean without heavyweights there would be no balance in the wrestling and how the hell would these lightweights get reconized? ??
