Who said you had to care about anything or anyone's opinion? I posted a link to an article that I know some users of this board will enjoy reading AND I indicated it was a rip on Bret Hart so people with no interest in that type of piece or subject matter could save themselves a click.

Thanks for sharing the piece, Gordo! I can say that the April weekend with Bret in Timmins went on completely without any issues whatsoever. To set up that weekend, I had many, many emails exchanges with Marcy and, at no time, did she ever dodge a question or not send a speedy reply. Before the signing in Timmins, Bret gladly interviewed for the local media, including newspapers, radio shows, and television. During the actual signing, Bret was genuine with all the 600 + fans that lined up for him. He took the time to talk with every one person in front of him. On many instances, he doodled drawings for the fans. He walked away from the table to meet, talk and pose with the physically and mentally challenged fans that came over. He made it a point to give them a special memory. We also filmed and archived the event. At no time did he charge anyone for an autograph or a photo. Heck, Bret stayed an additional half hour to make sure every single fan met with him and had their items signed. In all honesty, Bret and Marcy were class acts during the whole planning stages and actual event that took place in April of this year. I'll base my judgments on my actual experience with the two people he throws under the bus. If Mr. Sinnott wants to present classless, let's look at the language he used in his piece. His judgments alone about Tony make me questions his stance. Oh well, not everyone meets eye to eye.

I agree. Sinnott was very unprofessional in his manner of speaking (despite reiterating numerous times how professional he and his team were.)
I've met Bret numerous times and, while I have seen the behavior some people call 'being a dick' I've never seen it directed at me and never during an 'official' function like a signing or meet & greet.
Bret was cool as long as you wanted to talk about anything but wrestling.
I have ZERO issues with Bret.
I posted the link because Bret is news to some people, Sinnott & Bloodstained Memoirs is news to some people and I figured (knew) there would be readers of this forum who would find the piece interesting, whether they agree with Sinnott or not. Far harsher things have appeared on this forum than anything said in that article.
I did NOT post a link to this article on owie.ca because it's not the type of "journalism" my site promotes.

Very true...
I never thought you were presenting personal issues, so no worries on that front.

I enjoyed reading that. Thanks for posting it.
One interesting tidbit that I picked up when reading this, is that the Author himself states "he did not receive concrete confirmation from Marcy" before taking his production crew across a country to film this footage.
He continually says how he was treated in an unprofessional manner by both Bret and Marcy. To me; being professional (on his part) would mean having a concrete confirmation that an interview was to be conducted, before heading cross country and racking up a whole bunch of expenses.
It seems to me that he knew that this outcome was a possibilty and he decided to roll the dice and hope everything worked out. If you want to hold someone to professional standards, you had better make sure that you are acting like a professional as well.
