I had the pleasure of meeting Steve a few times. He was truly gifted in the ring and a hidden diamond that never had the true opportunity to shine to its fullest potential. Steve was the first person in professional wrestling to score a pinfall victory of Kurt Angle while they were both in the developmental system for WWE. My condolences go out to him and his family.
