Adam Pearce. That explains him dropping the NWA Belt over the weekend.
According to Dave Meltzer. They're gonna be doing a 70's style with less ridiculous moves, shorter shows, clearer heel/face dynamics, etc.

Seriously, or is this a joke? No this is not a joke at all why do you have a problem with this change??. I see this as something good because quite frankly ROH's booking has been stale for almost 2 years now not to say they weren't putting on good shows but for the most part it was stale. I see this as something of an injection of something new and hopefully some freshness to the product. Please don't pass judgment until you see what Pearce does like all the marks on the ROH board who are crying.

I apologize if it seems I have made my decision before actually seeing it, however personally I feel ROH had the perfect style of wrestling that in my opinion couldn't be topped in the US.
ROH had one problem, spending too much money on talent so why did they have to make such a drastic change that MAY cause them to crash & burn.
Again I apologize but I feel this decision is sink or swim for ROH.

I agree to a point Adam Bomb but it seems the big point of difference was the old booker felt he needed ppv(not selling worth a damn) and the owner feels he needs tv so i guess we shall see

ROH's formula under Gabe's booking was high on move-sets and low on emotional drama (like a certain late Ontario Indy fed that followed a similar style) and over the long haul was unsustainable at the gate. Only the most die-hard fans of that style won't get bored with it.
Storylines, characters AND clearly defined face/heel roles are needed to foster the emotional attachment that keeps fans coming (and buying) - competitiveness and/or athleticism alone won't cut it.

I had to quote this statement because this right here what you said was exactly what I have been thinking and I completly agree with you thank-you.

I would think any change would be incremental-end the stories that Sapolsky started while gradually introducing the changes that Silkin wants to implement.I'd reserve judgement until the New Year at least.
