Saw them on their "Highway To Hell" Tour with Bon Scott still at the helm. (Shea's Theatre, Buffalo NY 1979). Made the mistake of seeing them on the "Back in Black" Tour (Maple Leaf Gardens) with the new singer. Vowed to never see them again. RIP Bon

Yawn, Seen 'em once, seen 'em a thousand times. Gordo, you cranky old bastard! How dare you! Next thing, you're gonna be telling us that all their songs are laughably similar, in terms of composition/structure/production; and that they haven't demonstrated an ounce original creative spark for at least a generation and a half; and that that Phil Rudd secretly died almost 37 years ago, and the band's been using the exact same goddamn four-second drum sample, endlessly looped over and over and over, on every single song they've recorded since then!!!

I know it ain't no almighty AC&DC, but FWIW, in just about 24 hours from now, me and Kelsa are gonna be at Massey Hall (3rd row dead centre, on the aisle) for this:
If you wanna be completely knocked on your ass, and "effected" in a way that you'd never think any concert or entertainment experience would be able to... I strongly suggest getting yourself down there, selling your car, and getting some scalper tickets. You can thank me later.
Now, to get back on topic: AC&DC rules! Where's my beer? Where can I park my pick-up? And for the record, I love 57 year-old ladies in leopard-print tights & leather jackets, with yellow hair, bad implants, and skin like a Wilson catcher's mitt! Party on!

Apparently the tickets sold out w/in the first 10 minutes, which is nuts. 500's for 70$ and rest of the seats 100$.

I heard something real interesting on the radio today.
They were talking about how fast the ACDC tickets sold out and infact it is a crock of shit.
Ticketmaster is obviously the soul seller of these tickets, Ticket master also owns another company , as soon as the tickets go on sale they sell them all to the other company they own and sell the tickets to the public at marked up prices.
Want proof? ACDC tickets were advertised on Ticketmaster for $69 and $99 plus all surcharges. Google "Stub hub" ACDC tickets are available there starting at $200 for cheap seats, going all the way up to $3000.
Stub Hug is a legit ticket scalping company, Ticket scalping is legal in Canada as long as you are licensed and pay taxes.
Another interesting fact, again tickets were advertised at $69 and $99, ACDC gets $50 for every ticket sold (5 members of the band, they get $10 each for every ticket sold.)
The band gets none of what the market up tickets are now going for other then the $50 per ticket.
I leave it up to you to come up with your own opinion on the ticket sales......

That's bs and I believe that to be true because ticketmaster is in HUGE DEBT right now. I can't remember the exact number but it's big.
