WOW!! Manny you should know by know your opinion doesn't count. You think Kiss makes good music and you can't give directions. So your opinion means nothing to me.
So why does Nintendo suck Pyro ??

Nintendo doesn't suck, They are the innovators of gaming, without them possibly the video gaming craze may not even be around if it wasn't for them picking up the mass audience after Atari ruined the home console market in the 80's. Nintendo has a great line of characters, seeks to make games fun, not just visually pleasing, which in the end, is the very reason why we play video games. However, the Wii seems to me that it is a gimmicky console, with very little or no appeal to me. Much like the DS, the incorporation of the 'wii-mote' will ruin most quality titles just because they had to add stupidity in the game to use it. Not only that, but $249 is not extremely high, but it is pretty high for what it is. I mean, the graphics and such aren't too appealing when comparing them to current generation consoles graphics. With that being said, for a hundred dollars more or so, you can pick up an Xbox 360 which you know will have tons of quality hit titles, just look at the line-up of up coming games, Banjo Kazooie, Halo 3, Gears of War, the list goes on and on. Nintendo's Gamecube was far from a sucess in comparison to the other consoles, will the wii be doomed to the same fate? I have a feeling not, however the Xbox 360 / PS3 will be spinning discs, much, much longer than the wii will, as anyone who has the wii will only play the few classic titles such as Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime, and Smash Brothers. Upon completion of those games, dust shall settle and the console will become one of the most disappointing 'next-gen' systems. Bet on it.

I'll take that bet. Cup of coffee? Where can you find a 360 for $100? I own one, and was foolish enough to buy it the day it came out. Nothing but bugs, and just recently have they started to come out with good games. I have a high def tv, and the output is great, yes, but that's the one high point. Backwards compatability sucks, the media center is almost the same as a modded original Xbox. I prefer the original. The PS3 will dominate for current systems, but the Wii will hold its own. The DS is far better than the PSP, but you have to try it. Trust me - I own them both. The Wii's price is fantastic, and I like the fact they go their own way. The Gamecube failed, but it is still my 3 children's favourite system. Now with the Wii, you can play Gamecube games, hook up your DS to it, and best of all download games from the NES, SNES, N64 and a few others. Now yes, I have a kickass computer, with emulators, and hooked to the tv. So why the Wii? I grew up with Nintendo. I'm cheering for them. They don't suck! Neither does KISS by the way Donkey! The Wii will find a market.

I'm happy to report I secured a Nintendo Wii - miraculously before Christmas. Its everything and more I hoped it would be! Wii sports is a lot of fun, especially when there's 2 or more couples playing - even my wife's friends like it, not just the men. Zelda is fantastic, as is Monster Trucks - we also have Rayman, Open Season and Barnyard which are hits with the ladies. I also love the virtual console, and am having fun playing old school games like Donkey Kong and the original Zelda. Thanks to Donkey and Melo for their thoughts and opinions on the Wii, and Donkey was right on the money - the Wii kicks ass!!

My wife got me a Wii for X-mas too. I have to agree it is awesome. Now if only I could find a second remote for it. I have been to 5 or 6 different places, and none of them have any in stock. I am hooked on Zelda and Bowling right now.

if your looking for controller try Nintendo's website. I think you can buy them from there online store. The controllers are really hard to find. Luckily I got all 4 on the day of the release. If your really stuck for controllers there is a game coming out in Jan or Feb called Wii Play, and it comes with a Wii remote. So try and pre-order the game. Wii Play is kind of like Wii sports. There's pool and like 4 other games I can't remember right now.
Try Rayman Raving Rabbids it's great, Super Swing Golf is a great golf game. And Fry Cry sucks don't waste your time and money. If you need help getting controllers or an opinion on a game leave me a message.

Thanks for the info. I will definatly try Rayman and Super Swing golf. So far I have been splitting my time with Zelda and Wii Sports. Zelda is awesome and works well with the remote. I have also tried Red Steel and wasn't too impressed, but it might be better with another controller. Metal Slug is fun too

I would just like to say on behalf of CWE that the Wii is the shit. We understand that both Strangler Jr's have one, and are repeatedly owning the drunken seniors in bowling, tennis and yes...boxing.
