Saturday, August 8at 7:00pm Hamilton, Ontario Bay City Music Hall IT'S NEVER BEEN SO PERSONAL. When you were younger, maybe as young as 10 or 11, and you told people what you liked to do, whether it was a certain toy you liked to play with, a cartoon that you liked to watch, a comic book that you read every issue of, or a wrestler you loved watching on TV, some of those people laughed at you. And you held your head up high because you were proud to like those things. And maybe, as you got older and you became a teenager, people would still laugh at you for liking those things and you were still unapologetic, even if there was a small part of you hurting inside. Maybe those words stung a little. Maybe these people were even bordering on bullies. And into adulthood, as your interests turned to passions, some people would still make you feel small and look down their nose at you because you liked something that so many people call “fake”. Well, YOU ARE FRINGE. You are that person that we’ll never turn away from. We embrace you – every one of your qualities. YOU ARE FRINGE, because you are one of us. We stand together in solidarity, every one of us, because although our tastes differ in many ways, we all have a love and a passion for independent wrestling in its purest form. We appreciate the stories and personalities that come from it. And we have an admiration for the people who put themselves on the line for it. Those who live it, breathe it, bleed it… we defend it. We support it. And we support you in your decision to support them. Together… WE ARE FRINGE. Say it with me. #WEAREFRINGE.

3-WAY TAG TEAM ACTION for the FRINGE TAG TEAM TITLES! T-FOUR had such a good outing at YEAR 2WO, that Cameron Banks thought that they should be given another chance at glory. But THE ELITE, comprised of the surprisingly cohesive "Big" Ben Ortmanns and Tarik, have all but demanded (okay, they actually did demand) a title shot, and so we have ourselves a good ol' fashioned fight. The Unit always comes out on top as of late, it seems, and even though the Goat Brigade peddle their shirts well, make no mistake - they're still out to prove The Unit still lives inside them.

Last July, in the heat of competition, "Reckless" Ryan Swift suffered a severe concussion at the hands of his good friend "Hacker" Scotty O'Shea, and still came out the victor. In fact, Hacker has never beaten Swift. Ever. And although Swift has been the #1 Contender before, his title shot ended in a disqualification as "The Grinder" Mark Shaw, new to The Unit, waylayed him with a pipe wrench. A man who wants his shot back faces the man who's never beat him. If this isn't exciting enough, we'll throw in Hacker's own tag team partner Alessandro Del Bruno, and make it a sudden death Triple Threat match. Hacker doesn't need to be pinned to lose. Swift wants to claim what he thinks should be his. Del Bruno wants to move up and onward from a brutal feud. This is what being UNDER FIRE is all about!

Referees. Every match needs one - even if it's just to count to three. That last bit matters, especially in the Hammer City division, where there are no rules. Falls count any damned place the wrestlers feel like going. So the ref is just a formality. So why, then, does "The Grinder" Mark Shaw have such a hard time with them? He mistreats them, beats the shit out of them, and hell, even made one quit. So, Cameron Banks has scoured the Ontario wrestling landscape to find a ref that Shaw will have a hard time bullying... Jim Nye has chosen the opponent for Rhys Greenaway... now to get it signed! With any luck here, Rhys will be kept busy enough that Jim will be able to grab the belt from the corner of the ring!

RHYS GREENAWAY seems to really enjoy throwing a monkey wrench into the works (no pun intended)! Rhys petitioned "THE GRINDER" MARK SHAW regarding the interests of fairness in "defending my title" (his words, not ours) and Shaw has allowed him to pick JIM NYE THE SCIENCE GUY's opponent, just as Nye picked Greenaway's. Rhys has picked none other than Jim's mentor, trainer, teacher, and friend, "The High Risk Hero", RIP IMPACT! We'll see what Rip has to say about his own family throwing him to the wolves, but if he's game, it's on!
UPDATE: As you saw this past Monday, the King of Skids Rhys Greenaway definitely took huge advantage of the Pick Your Poison concept, by picking his own cousin Rip Impact, to face Jim Nye The Science Guy, who happens to be Nye's trainer, mentor, and best friend. We here at Fringe should've known this might happen considering Rip's relationship with both men. However, as Fringe management has sent Rip Impact the contracts for this match, there has been no reply yet, and nothing has been officially signed. Management has also been unable to reach the High Risk Hero in any way. So now one has to wonder? Will this match even happen? And what action will management take Rip does not sign? Stay tuned for further updates.

Let's face it: Will White has been through a lot this past year. And now that he seems to be back on a solid path, we want to show him our appreciation - to let him know what he truly means to us. So, that's why on August 8th, we're going to celebrate Will's continuing legacy at Fringe Pro Wrestling by honouring him inside the ring! We've never done this for one of our wrestlers before! Be there to see this historic event!

This match, folks, is an interesting one, on a couple of levels. VAUGHN VERTIGO was last seen competing in the Redline title tournament, where he scored an impressive victory over "THE GRINDER" MARK SHAW. KOBE DURST has been facing mostly seasoned veterans throughout his career thus far. What happens when these two young, hungry stars face off? FIND OUT AUGUST 8th!

Here are the results of Fringe Pro Wrestling: Under Fire:
It starts with the sound of bagpipes in memory of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
Then Bill Chase welcoming us to Fringe Pro Wrestling: Under Fire.
Opening contest is Vaughn Vertigo V.S. Kobe Durst.
Good match between these two. Lot of chants for Kobe Durst and aerial maneuvers. In the end, Vaughn used the tights to gain a victory and then it got personal as well after the match. This rivalry ain't over yet.
Redline Rules Pick Your Poison Match: Rhys Greenaway V.S. Space Monkey.
Lots of confusion during the match. Rhys wins the match. I forgot the score of the match.
Bill Chase introduces Cameron Banks. He talks and calls out Will White. Mentions Bill Black and Danny Orlando. He puts his hands on Cameron then Jeff "Ginger" Goodridge comes out and says that "The Grinder" Mark Shaw is away on a family emergency, gave him charge of The Unit and says he owns 25% percent of Fringe Pro Wrestling. "The Bonecrusher" Steve Brown and the newest member of The Unit comes out and Will and Steve fight.
Will White wins by pinfall.
Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match:
The Goat Brigade w/Jeff "Ginger" Goodridge. V.S. The Elite - Big Ben Ortmanns & Tarik. V.S. T4 - Taylor Kay-Deen & Tyler Thomas.
Good fast-paced match. All 3 teams delivered but in the end, The Elite sneak away with the victory and they are the NEW Fringe Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Jeff came out and wasn't happy and got into Shane's face and they got a KO shot as well. Jeff says that The Goat Brigade is OUT of The Unit for good.
A Brief intermission.
Then Bill Chase interviews Aiden Rayne. Asked him about not facing "The Grinder" Mark Shaw, etc. Then Warhed comes out holding the Hammer City Championship around his waist. He says that they should have a match for the title and it was a brawl from the get go. Chairs, garbage cans, a keyboard, table with barbed wire, among others but in the end, Aiden wins by pinfall and is the NEW Fringe Pro Wrestling Hammer City Champion once again. Thank You Warhed chants after the match and they hugged in the ring. We will miss you, Warhed.
Double Main Event: Redline title match: "EZE" Eric Cairnie V.S. The Champion, Jim Nye "The Science Guy".
Good match. Lots of shenanigans invovling Rhys Greenaway and Steve Brown. I don't know what the score was but EZE wins the Redline title, turns heel and joins The Unit. Cameron comes on the mic and suspends Rhys for 1 show. Rhys says he is NOT a part of The Unit nor a part of Fringe Pro Wrestling. Says he is his own man and gives the middle finger to Cameron and The Unit as well.
Main Event: Triple Threat match for the Fringe Pro Wrestling Title: The Champion, Scotty "The Hacker" O'Shea V.S. Alessandro Bruno V.S. "Reckless" Ryan Swift.
1 of the best Fringe Pro Wrestling main events I ever seen in my life! All 3 of these wrestlers delivered for Fringe Pro Wrestling's richest prize. But thanks to a assist from "EZE" Eric Cairnie, "Reckless" Ryan Swift finally wins the Fringe Pro Wrestling title and joins The Unit now. Jeff got on the mic and delivered what he promised then Cameron got a mic and promise they will get the belts back and The Unit stand tall at the entrance way.
Overall, good show from Fringe Pro Wrestling.
