THE BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR We've announced all 7 matches for Super Showdown 2 but we feel confident enough that announcing just one of these three matches is ENOUGH to get your attention! Chris Hero has YET to lose in singles action defeating Lance Storm, AJ Styles, Tyson Dux, Takaaki Watanabe and Josh Alexander. Will Chris Hero put an end to Matt Cross' streak and title reign? We love tag wrestling! Smashapalooza featured two incredible tag team matches featuring four of Canada's finest teams. But at Super Showdown 2 it's North America's greatest rivalry taking place for the FIRST TIME on Canadian soil! Brent Banks is hell bent on proving that's he's better than Scotty O'Shea. This all started because Banks was infuriated that someone who he thinks is half the wrestler he is made it into the title tournament. The one he felt short of qualifying for. Banks feels that the last step in proving himself is by defeating the man O'Shea beat to get into the title tournament. At the biggest show of the year, Banks will have an OPPORTUNITY to beat none other than Jay Lethal! Super Showdown 2 Tix --> -> ow.ly/zsL0f VIP Row 1 SOLD OUT! VIP Row 2 SOLD OUT! VIP Row 3 LIMITED IN QUANTITIES!

Results are from Smash Wrestling Facebook Page and are as follows
MATCH #1: Scotty O’Shea d. Alex Vega, Pepper Parks, Gregory Iron and John Greed via CTRL + ALT + DEL to Vega.
POST MATCH #1: Alex Vega's actions and subsequent firing was addressed in a release earlier today. Smash Wrestling management no longer wishes to address this matter publicly. We are moving on from the matter at hand. Again, former Smash Wrestling competitor Alex Vega is no longer employed at Smash Wrestling
MATCH #2: Kimber Bomb d. LuFisto & Vanessa Kraven via a lung blower + german suplex combo to LuFisto.
POST MATCH #2: Team USA continued to assault their opponents. Courtney Rush, Xandra Bale and Jewells Malone made the save as Team Canada stood tall as a team. Kimber Bomb Team USA finally announced their team captain, Amazing Kong!!! Canusa Classic 2 takes place at the 227 Lounge on September 21st.
MATCH #3: Tyson Dux defeated Johnny Gargano via a quick counter pin.
PRE MATCH #4: It was announced that Jay Lethal could not make his flight for Super Showdown 2. Unfortunately, Lethal’s passport renewal was unexpectedly delayed. His replacement…Rich Swann!
MATCH #4: Rich Swann d. Brent Banks via a Frog Splash. At one point during the contest, Banks attempted to use a chair only to have Scotty O’Shea make his way ring side and take the chair away. This almost cost Banks the match. Nevertheless, it was a matter of time before Banks fell short to Swann.
MATCH #5: Josh Alexander exacted revenge on former tag partner Sebastian Suave as Suave submitted to the Muffler Stretch following a series of stomps to the head while locked in the submission. Alexander’s win was in jeopardy after accidental contact with the referee. The Overdogs capitalized by hitting Alexander with a double team maneuver.
POST MATCH #5: Alexander told both The Overdogs that “this was over!” and shook both men’s hands as this 10-month saga came to its thrilling end.
MATCH #6: The Young Bucks d. The Super Smash Brothers via More Bang For Your Buck in what could unquestionably be the greatest match in Smash Wrestling history. No words will do this match justice.
POST MATCH #6: The Young Bucks called the Smash Brothers the greatest tag team in Canada but deemed themselves the best tag team in the world. An open challenge was made to any tag team and to Smash Wrestling. Managing Director James Kee kept it short and sweet when he promised the fans that The Young Bucks would return to Smash Wrestling.
MATCH #7: Matt Cross d. Chris Hero via his second Shooting Star Press to remain Smash Wrestling champion and undefeated since the inception of Smash Wrestling at 22-0. The match truly lived up to the hype of being the main event on the biggest show of the year!
