I had read several rumors online, one being that Kimbo knocked out Nelson in like 38 seconds. I'm glad to see that wasn't true. However it did say Kimbo would come back to replace an injured fighter. That looks to be true (or obvious) based on the promo for the next show.
As far as the fight goes, ya, IT SUCKED ! It was by no means on convincing win nor a convincing loss. Isn't Nelson like one of the best 15 fighters in the world (for his weight class) ?
On topic, I thought when the fighters lose they leave the house ?

They did the thing back in the early days of TUF where dudes who lost had to leave, but now they leave em there in case of injury and to train with team

It makes sense, as in recent years many a UFC star have been born on the TUF franchise. So why not keep them around to increase the profile and skill set, and as Donnie pointed out keep on reserve in the case of injury. I guess we see next week if Kimbo makes the cut again. I know Dana has said %100 he has a place now in UFC. On live audio wrestling (BOOOOO) they say he either fights on the finale of the show or the UFC 107 PPV. I would think the will keep him around pending he wins a few fights. Obviously he is a knockout artist. But if he fails at that I'm sure he is done. Anyone think that anyone in the UFC will stand and trade with Kimbo ? Or will everyone want to shoot on him and take him down ?

I can see Lesnar wanting to trade with him, but I think most (if not all) will pull Kimbo down and try to beat him the way Fat Country did.

fat country seemed like he just wanted to prove how one dimensional kimbo is. i have to say kimbo has grown on me and i think in a few years time he will be really great. he has a stand up so all he has to do is train with the right people on his ground game and he could be dangerous. i heard a rumor that he was gonna cut weight and drop to light heavy, honestly if he can cut to that weight and be healthy it could be better as he seems small for a heavyweight. keep in mind i'am an above average casual fan so i don't know to much on how alot of this works so i could be wrong about it. oh and im a kimbo ass kisser

It mentioned on the Firght Network that Rashad wants to have Kimbo come and train with his camp. Which could include GSP, Keith Jardine and Cote. If he could get some wrestling and submission defense under his belt he could do alot in the UFC. I have always likes Kimbo I just hope he dedicates the time and takes Rashad up on his offer.

Jimmi - the biggest problem is -- Kimbo isn't a young buck ... he's up there in years ... past his athletic prime ... and trying to now LEARN how to fight...
I am starting to like him too though

I hate Kimbo in the Cage as previously said, 1) washed up streetfighter 2) he has absolutely nothing to prove to Dana anyway 3) his size, weight, muscular physique is enuff to scare anyone away.... LOL
But Lesnar would kill him anyway... ground, stand up, upside down hanging from a tree. Don't matter.
Him trining with "Wrestler type guys" OK I guess just don't see him in his years being in the class as say Lesnar. Maybe Liddell if he wasn't such a pussy. Kimbo / Lashley would be decent tho. Dana book it!!!!

Roy Nelson is a fat slob, and that fight was sad.
Obviously they are gonna keep Kimbo since he is the draw of that entire show.
Someone really shoulda gave Nelson that whopper he asked for, that way Butterbean could challenge him as the true BURGER champion.
MMA Fight of the Century "Burger King" Roy Nelson vs. "King of the Quarter Pounders" Butterbean.
As we consider more exciting fights, watch for Miguel Cotto vs. Manny Pacquio (spelling?) as it forges on to boxing's "dream match" of Manny vs. Mayweather.

CHEAP PLUG! CLAP CLAP! CHEAP PLUG!
