"RussLing" went from "YAY JBL WEEDING OUT THAT JOEY STYLES WHO DOESNT BELONG" to "I DONT CARE, EVERYONE IS JEALOUS, I LIKE BRADSHAW! HE DOESNT DO FLIPS!!!"
Man.. I'm surprised you can type so well with JBL's cyber-cock in your mouth.

New details are coming in from the altercation between Joey Styles and JBL in Iraq from a few different sources. Apparently the incident wasn’t as big as it was first made out to be. One eye witness reports that after JBL was bullying Styles all night and was being taken away by other wrestlers for basically being an asshole, “When he turned his back, Joey jumped on him and caught JBL with a punch that gave him a small cut under the eye that was bleeding like crazy. JBL was furious.” It wasn’t a showdown situation where they were face to face and Joey just clocked him.
One source also reports that JBL was talking trash about Styles and his family until Styles just blew up on him. The whole incident was described as a slow build over several days with lots of verbal taunting. At RAW this week, Styles was something of a hero to some. While Joey isn’t popular in some circles within WWE, there were a lot of people who got a big kick out of the idea that JBL was humiliated by the old ECW TV announcer. JBL was very quiet at RAW, working on his Blackberry before the show and being more subdued and quiet than usual, since he just knew people were talking behind his back and he was the center of a story that will probably be repeated forever. One friend of JBL’s noted, “I always shake my head when he lowers himself to these high school spectacles. He’s such a smart, funny, engaging person and a good guy at his core but he is compelled to act in a deplorable manner and it has come back to bite him in the ass.”
It’ll be interesting to see any repercussions come out of this. The incident in Iraq, when it happened, was a huge embarrassment to the company. Vince told everyone who witnessed it that nobody was to breathe a word about it to anyone else. Vince was furious when the story got out and people who weren’t there heard all about it.

Dont be surprised if "sucker shit-talking" eventually earns you a "sucker punch" (if there really even is such a thing) from someone. Simple as that. Totally justified if it's in response to someone who keeps running his mouth and is an incorrigibly obnoxious douche. What the fuck do you expect? (Actually, apparently JBL didn't expect it... Always the sign of a real man, to pick on someone legitmately less than half your size, huh? No inner self-confidence issues there or anything.) Years ago, Chistian cranked JBL square in the face during a match, because JBL was being a perpetual asshole throughout the preceeding weeks. Was that a sucker punch too? (JBL never bothered him again after that. Christian flat-out put him in his place, and JBL had no response or retaliation whatsoever. End of story.) Stuff like this shows who the legit tough guys-- the guys with the balls to stand up for themselves--really are. Or at the very least, it shows who the tough guys AREN'T... Exposes JBL to be a coward who is all bark and no bite; who gets all sucky and quiet when someone (physically) calls him on his bullshit. One of Magnolia's Universal Truths: Dudes who are legit tough guys never feel the need to act tough, or bully people around. There's just no need. JBL, on the other hand, has always had this issue way-overcompensating. But it's cool, 'cause he always ends up embarassing himself, and making himself look like a total douche-tard in the end. Kinda like the dude behind the curtain in The Wizard of Oz or something. (Well... not really. But kinda.) Very satisfying example of karma, and people getting what they deserve.

Um Mag... I was simply saying ... there's no way that Joey could land a clean shot and do as much damage as he did on a bar fighter like Bradshaw unless it WAS a sucker punch.
The initial report said Joey hit him as Bradshaw came toward him. Subsequent reports state Joey came at him from behind - a sucker punch.
Did I say anything about it being unwarranted?
And if your little someone may give you a sucker punch thing was that a threat? Just checkin

a punch is a punch the only sucker is jbl why is it so hard to believe that joey could hurt someone like jbl with one punch? cuz he wears glasses? cuz he is little? size really does mean nothing, im small and i wear glasses but i aint afraid of bigger guys why should i be i know i can hold my own. the point of this whole ordeal is that JBL got what was coming to him.

Nobody is questioning if JBL deserved it. But i've been told by someone who was on the tour that Joey snapped and came at him from behind. JBL has a long history of legitimately beating up tough guys - and Joey, by his own admission isn't a fighter.

And if he did, good for him... you have to even the odds sometimes... If some huge dude was gonna kill me, Id do anything it took to beat him... Id even put a Dan E O song on and punch him in the balls while his ears were bleeding...
(For the record, I only used Dan E O cuz carving on Donnie was getting old...)

I was simply saying ... there's no way that Joey could land a clean shot and do as much damage as he did on a bar fighter like Bradshaw unless it WAS a sucker punch. Ah, but there's the fundamental flaw in your assessment right there: You're operating under the potentially/probably incorrect presumption that Bradshaw's a legit tough guy. I've heard a first-hand, personal account-- not an internet story--about how Bradshaw folded up like a wet paper towel, when he got stiffed back. And Joey Styles doesn't have to be Mike freakin' Tyson to take down JBL... Maybe JBL's got a glass jaw? And if your little someone may give you a sucker punch thing was that a threat? Just checkin Huh? What in the green hell are you going on about now, lol? You're really gonna have to explain that one to me. I'm gonna guess that you're trying way to hard to read between lines that aren't even there. Relax; you don't need to be so insecure, or paranoid or whatever. (Kinda reminds me of an insecure girl: "Hey Mike, when you said that my friend Samantha reminded you of Trish Stratus, did you really mean that I'm really ugly, and you hate me, and are just waiting for the right time to dump me?". You know when someone says something so TOTALLY out of left-field, that you can't help but go "WTF???", and wonder if they've got some latent psychological issues? Yeah, it's like that.)

The initial report said Joey hit him as Bradshaw came toward him. Subsequent reports state Joey came at him from behind - a sucker punch. So Joey came at him from behind... and gave him a black eye (with eyes usually being located on the front of peoples' heads)? Or maybe Joey has some of those funky go-go Gadget Arms!

Another thing to keep in mind. All reports are coming 3rd and 4th hand from dirt sheets.
Only those who were involved or there to witness it know all the facts. Either way it has to be pretty embarrassing for someone JBL's size to be involved in a story like this with someone the size of Styles.

I don't know Bradshaw or Styles and I've never seen either of them in a legit fight so commenting on the specifics of their incident would be pure supposition
however,
to address a broader picture... I.E. big man vs little man in a fight:
I can accept unequivocally the possibility of a little guy dropping a much larger opponent with one punch (or kick, or head butt, or thrust, or eye-poke etc) whether it's a sucker punch or a straight up mutually consensual fight because I've personally witnessed it numerous times. (The toughest street fighter I ever knew was 5'6" 140lbs. He routinely fought, and won, with guys waaaay bigger than he was... often with the first punch.)
There are many factors that make up the equation that is real combat. No matter who you are, on any given day there are lots of people who are 'tougher' than you.

All it takes is one punch, sucker punch or not, I really think JBL had it coming his way. All in all though, I think things are going to end up being back to the way they were, because sooner or later, people are going to forget that Styles knocked JBL on his ass.
